A CALLOUS moped gang are terrorising locals in a Scottish city, attempting to snatch bags and mobile phones.
Cops in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses following the spring of incidents in the Woodlands area of the city.

Officers say that two men on-board a motorcycle approached a number of pedestrians in an attempt to steal their belongings between 9[m and 10.30pm on Saturday.
The men are described as wearing black balaclavas and hoodies with neither wearing a helmet.
The motorcycle is described as an older style, possibly a moped and was not displaying a registration number.
Cops are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Laura Roberts said: “We would like to speak to anyone who may have seen these men or who may have witnessed any of the incidents.

“We are also keen to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage.“Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 4288 of 6 August.
“Alternatively, a call can be made anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

In other news, a schoolgirl aged 10 was struck in a horror hit and run last night in Livingston.
Her injuries are unknown and the suspects include two people, both aged between 18 and 19, with one on a blue and white motorcycle.
Inspector Kylie Barnard, of Livingston Police Station, said: “The victim and her family have been left shaken by this incident and we are appealing for information to trace those responsible.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone with private CCTV or dashcam footage.”
