A BODY has been found in the search for a missing Scots man who disappeared last week.
Police made the discovery at 1:30pm yesterday afternoon at Dumfries House, Ayrshire– a property with links to Prince Charles.


Detectives were searching for Brian Loy, 50, who disappeared last Wednesday at 7:40pm.
He was last seen around Glenshamrock Drive in Auchinleck, East Ayrshire, but had not contacted loved ones since.
Officers found the body amid a search at the popular tourist spot in Ayrshire – it has still to be formally identified but Mr Loy’s family have been informed.
The grounds are owned by Prince Charles‘s charity, The Prince’s Foundation – a range of educational courses teaching traditional arts and crafts.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious, and they’ve confirmed a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
In other news, a crowdfunder set up to support father-of-six John Mackinnon who was killed in an alleged shooting in the Isle of Skye has raised more than £20,000.
John Mackinnon died on Wednesday and over 300 people donated to the crowdfunder set up thereafter, which had an initial target of £5,000.
And Batgirl star Leslie Grace has paid a touching tribute to a Scots boy who died from a rare form on cancer.
Four-year-old Finlay Mckechnie passed away last month after he was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma – a type of liver cancer.
Batman was Finlay’s favourite superhero and he formed a close bond with Leslie when he visited the set earlier this year dressed up at Batman himself.
After hearing of his death, the 27-year-old actress said she was she was left devastated by the loss and dedicated a song to him on social media in a touching post.
